Adult | Intro to Acrylic Painting
This class runs on Mondays from 4:30-6:30 pm, it will run September 23 - December 2 (10 weeks) and is taught by teacher Emily.
This class is a perfect fit for students who already have drawing skills and are looking to learn and grow as painters. In this class we will start from square one and learn about color theory, mixing, process, brush control, and more. We will work on some group projects, and finish with an individual project. If you haven’t used acrylic paint before that is okay. We will teach you. If you have taken this class before we recommend you move on to the studio painting class as we will be going over all of the basics in this class. If you are interested in learning how to paint with oils, we will have a beginner oil painting class in our Winter Session starting in January. Acrylic painting skills are a great foundation for learning to oil paint.
